The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl is back and from Vegas (with love)! We dive into the hit show from Shudder. As Brannyk admits to never ever watching it (but somehow still reading all the tweets), Payne makes a suggestion for Joe Bob to switch to Megadeth Beer, and Jim ponders if the wedding in tonight’s episode is at the same place he got married at (worked so well for him…uhhh…*cough*).
Then we hit 1408, which is a psychological horror film directed by Mikael Håfström and starring John Cusack. It is based on a short story by Stephen King and follows a skeptic writer who checks into a haunted room in a New York City hotel. After experiencing several strange and horrifying phenomena, he must find a way to survive the night.
Finally, Brannyk brings it home with Skinamarink. (Not the kids show!). It follows four young adults as they attempt to unravel the mysteries of a strange and eerie abandoned house. Through their exploration, they uncover the secrets of a forgotten past full of dark secrets and supernatural forces. As the group of friends discover the truth, they must fight against the sinister force that lurks within the house. With not only their lives but their sanity on the line, the story of Skinamarink is a thrilling adventure through a nightmare world of fear and terror.
For even more The Last Drive In fun, join us live on Twitter Friday at 9pm Eastern. Tag for some fun and stay for the…well…obviously for the cool show they put on (rhymes!).
