Shudder Canada
May promises some fun Shudder exclusives for Canada. The highlight for Shudder Canada for the month of May is Psycho Goreman.
Psycho Goreman is a 2020 Canadian horror/sci-fi comedy that follows a pair of sibling who resurrect an ancient evil. But they have fun with it, though. The film is written and directed by Steven Kostanksi. It stars Nita-Josee Hanna, Owen Myre, Steven Vlahos, and Matt Ninaber. The film looks like a real blast and a perfect addition to Shudder’s library of exclusives. Enjoy, Canada. You’ve earned it. Stream in on May 20th.

Shudder US again sweeps the most content category between the regions. Our selection for US Shudder subscribers this month is Skull: The Mask.
Nothing like a gory slasher for the American markets, right? Well, this Portuguese slasher is a surprising but exciting addition to the Shudder library. Skull: The Mask (aka Skull: A Máscara de Anhangá) is a 2020 Brazilian-American slasher that is written and directed by Armando Fonseca and Kapel Furman. The film follows a detective (Natallia Rodrigues) who investigates a pre-Columbian god who is cutting a swath of bloody sacrifices throughout San Paolo.

Shudder UK offers a number of exclusives, and our selection for Shudder fans in the UK is Relic.
Relic is a 2020 horror film directed by Erika James and adapted from a screenplay by James and Christian White. The film follows a mother and daughter as they investigate the strange disappearance of the family matriarch, Edna, only to discover something rotten may be going on at the estate where Edna spends her final days. Relic stars Emily Mortimer, Robyn Nevin, and Bella Heathcote.

Fried Barry is a 2020 South African horror film written and directed by Ryan Kruger. based on Kruger’s earlier short film the film follows a drug-addict whose body is taken for a joyride by an alien entity across Cape Town. The film stars Gary Green, Bianka Hartenstein, Sean Cameron Michael, and Chanelle de Jager.
