Hello again! We’re back with the monthly content guide across Shudder’s four regions. We skipped the content guide for November, but we’re back for bloody vengeance this month. As usual, we’ll share a highlight for each region and include a full list of films.
Let’s dig in, you’ll find the Shudder originals will be in bold.
Shudder CA
Shudder presents a whole sackful of goodies this month, but as for the highlight, we’re going to give them credit for the painful pun of the Holly Gialli Christmas. This month Shudder will be adding a ton of Giallo films to their service. There are many to enjoy, but some fun ones include Stagefright, Your Vice is a Locked Room, and Black Belly of the Tarantula.

Shudder US
The US shares the Giallo library of Canada, which is a pleasant surprise. This month also features the return of Bram Stoker’s Dracula back to the library.
As for the US highlight, being the American I am, I would normally hand it to Joe Bob Briggs, but this time around I am giving it up for the Shudder Original, The Pale Door.
Directed by Aaron B. Koontz, The Pale Door is a western horror film that features a train robbery and undead witches. What more do you need for Christmas? Not a whole lot, to be honest.

Shudder UK
As for what is on offer through the month, sadly, the UK is missing out on the Holly Gialli event, but that doesn’t mean there is no fun to have. For example, the highlight for the UK this month is the Western horror film Bone Tomahawk.
Directed by S. Craig Zahler, the film features an all-star cast lead by Kurt Russel and Patrick Wilson. The movie is about a posse that rides out to rescue two people who were abducted by indigenous cannibals.

Shudder ANZ
Australia and New Zealand, Shudder’s newest region, doesn’t get as many new additions compared to the others, but it still gets some great movies. This month, for those of you in the Pacific, I suggest you watch Anything for Jackson. It’s about a reverse exorcism that goes about as well as you would expect. The film stars character actors Sheila McCarthy and Julian Richings as grandparents who seek to place the soul of their dead grandson into the body of an unborn baby.
Normally Shudder tends to post their monthly schedules on their regional Twitter accounts, but curiously the ANZ account has yet to update. That’s alright, though, because, like a great pizza place, I deliver. Here is what Shudder Australia and New Zealand have to stream this month based on what I could dig up:
12/1
Luciferina
Saint
Silent Night (2012)
12/2
The Corruption of Chris Miller
Trauma
12/3
Anything for Jackson
12/8

Pusher III
12/15
Bitter Feast
Bone Tomahawk
Body Melt
Three Extremes II
12/17
The Pale Door
12/18
A Creepshow Holiday Special
12/22
